UNiCEF Bhutan Countryoffice is pleased to announce above vacancy.opening date of vacancy:august 10, 2022 Closing date of the vacancy:august 22, 2022 (mid night)purpose of post:under the supervision ofoperationsofficer (NoB) the Senior Supply and
Logistics Associate performs highly skilled work on uNiCEF supply chains, and manages the more complex cases and client requests, which frequently requires the evaluation of difficult situations and adaptation of procedures and processes
to resolve such cases. This is the senior GS level for more specialized supply chain work and requires advanced knowledge acquired through formal training and experience.
 
Minimum qualification required:
•Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented
by technical or university courses related to supply chain, logistics, business
administration, contract/commercial law, or another relevant technical field.
•A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain management or a commercial context is required. understanding of development and humanitarian work is an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge on latest computer applications (e.g., word processor,
spreadsheet, information/database management software and PowerPoint
presentation).
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
•Gender equality and diversity awareness and commitment.
•Excellent spoken and written English skills and local working language of the duty station.
